Bath is a beautiful city set in the South West of England. The city is host to hot springs, Roman Baths, a beautiful Abbey and Georgian stone crescents that have been attracting visitors for centuries. There are many Roman archaeological sites throughout the central area of the city, several below the present city street level. Around the hot springs, Roman foundations, pillar bases, and baths can still be seen. Bath is renowned for the quality and variety independent shops but also boasts stylish boutiques and familiar big name stores. Lovers of the outdoors will enjoy the city’s many parks and gardens.

The Bath Half Marathon is run annually through the beautiful city streets, with over 10,000 runners competing. The city is also host to the City of Bath Triathlon that takes place annually at the university.
