The second UK School Games was declared a resounding success as the curtain came down on the 2007 event in Coventry, in an outdoor closing ceremony at the University of Warwick on Sunday evening.

Seven sports completed their competition schedule on the last day of the UK School Games in Coventry. Athletics, badminton, fencing, gymnastics, judo, table tennis and volleyball awarded their final medals of the tournament. The standard has been as high as ever with some memorable performances all round.
